Default wastegate problem on b18

got a 95 civic with a b18 swap and got a problem with the external wastegate...its opening up at idle and i had a 10lb spring in it and put a 15 in after and it still open. i also try andadjust the manual boost controller and doesnt seem to help. anyone got and suggestions

Could be a vacuum line being hooked up to the wrong thing, or maybe you don't have a firing ring for your wastegate and that could be leaking the exhaust right through your wastegate.

You should have the top port vented to the atmosphere and the side port connected to a vaccume source.

i have a line running from the nipple off the turbo to a "T" and running one of the t to the side port and the end to a mbc the to the top port is that wrong???

Yupp thats wrong... Run the vaccume source from your "T" to the boost controller. Then from the boost controller to the side port on the wastegate. Leaving the top port to be vented to the atmosphere. Good look on putting the vaccume source before the throttle body.

so really just eliminate that "T" run vacuum to the mbc then to the side port
