Default want to go boost with 203whp gsr..?

Hey ht I have a fully built 203whp gsr, wiseco pistons manley rods skunk2 valvetrain I'd 1000 pro1 cams, I'm pretty bored with the motor and thinking of boost as an option, was going to build a crazy boost motor but going back to school I won't have the funds, i have a fullrace manifold and a gt28 , with good tuning and 94oct do you think I can boost the motor? Compression is around 11-11:5 its a summer car so kind of willing to take the risk

hmm.. why not just spray a little? $3-400 for spray is a cheaper boredom killer then $2-3000 needed for boost.

you can boost the motor with that high of CR but you will be power limited and will need to run the highest octane possible where you live and your tune pretty much has to be dead nuts on.... I'd also look into a meth injection system as an added safety measure

Agreeing with everything wantboost said.....also you will need to get rid of those Pro 1's with that turbo.

i agree that a little spray might be a better solution for the money. Get a good management with nitrous control, then when you get bored with that at least you will have a good management for boost

You could get a dry 100 shot with the s300 nitrous control and it would be more relaible and safe then a wet kit. That would put you close to 300whp, but if you got the money and want to boost then go for it. However youre really limited with pump gas on that compression

Way to much cam for that turbo. Need something that flows at least 61lbs/min

Nitrous is fun but its not very consistent. Its cheaper to get into initially but depending on how much you are spraying, the cost of ~$50 a bottle gets costly.

You have almost all the essentials that you need for a nice turbo setup. You could sell the cams, but some stock GSR cams and put the rest of the money towards your blow off valve, intercooler kit, and your wastegate. You have about another 1500 to go at max. IF you buy a No2 kit you will spend around 700 to have everything that you need to make it work properly. Thats only about 15 bottles of spray away from just going turbo.
