Default Valve Guide Seals

The water temp never exceeded 210F however, I have a mechanic telling me that he thinks the turbo heat (t3/t4) caused them to leak. The seals are brand new. The problem with the scenario is there is oil on the turbo and the engine block...so how the hell is it the seals ? I think he does not want to warranty the turb that he sold me. I think the turbo is leaking.....anyone had seal problems that end up blowing oil thru the turbo and causeing external leaks
