You care to explain why he's a tool?

 

UberTeg knows why he was banned, flaming a n00b and he got booted. He kinda sorta likes pushing the limits, and wasn't really angry with the mod who booted him. You take your chances, you deal with the consequences.

He's still out there, for anyone concerned. There are a couple threads like this one, currently, and even if he is a complete ******* he *is* a legit businessman.

I have emailed him a few times and pm him a lot...
The last I heard of him was about 2 fridays ago when he said He would ship my p28 and uberchip...
I sent this all to him 4 weeks or more ago and haven't got it yet...
sure he is busy but he should at least keep me up to date...
my car just sits there...

I beleive they were working with uberteg on these chips correct me if im wrong

 

Dropshop helps Blake test the chips. As far as I know they have no involvement with the development of them.

On a side note, datalogging should be available before long, hopefully this week I'll solder everythin up and send a proto adapter to Uberteg

 

I don't know, maybe he is a cranky **** but this isn't a goddamn popularity contest. The guy advanced the sport and brought some meaningful competition into play against Hondata. I wonder if that isn't the real reason he got banned.

 

If you guys have to ask why he was banned, you must have not been here long enough. I have been very patient with him and I get tired of all the IM's I get about him. I gave him serval chances.

Well, I'm glad to hear it wasn't just because he was selling a product that competes with other members'/sponsors' products...

in anycase, glad to hear more positive feedback about his chips...has anyone bought the whole shebang to program their own? I am about to drop the cash on it, with a wideband and try to push my D

 

LOL, sift some of Uberteg's post history. He's a good guy, but damn I'm surprised he wasn't booted before this.

I'd like to see the ban lifted after a certain period of time, but I understand that suggestion is about as attractive as a bag of dicks to Arturbo.

 

I run a local import page here in Newfoundland Canada (www.nfimports.net), and I have to deal with this **** all the time. Most people after you tell them the quit the shiznit or be gone usually play it straight.

But its a shame to see Uber gone because what he has created is a real help for us budget tuners, and I have nothing but mad props for him.

Still waiting on my chip and software from stupidfast.com though.......................getting anxious, very anxious.

 

I think what he did was great and I even had him send me a program to burn. But the manner in which he treats others was not called for. All the names he has had that I banned in the past were vertigo, vertigo1, vert, blake, uber-teg, & afro-puff.

The ban will not be lifted and all new users he creates here will be deleted. He is welcome to post on clubsi and share his product there or even hatchblack(stupidfast.com) here on HT, which happens to be my friend and local to me, will have all the product info you'll need.

Too bad Uber coulden't see the error in his way's.

Sweet...trading UberTeg my .48/.60 turbo for the complete upgrade. but i've got to fix it up first...new turbine housing. Well...gotta learn what all those numbers are so i can burn my own chips!!
