i think this is the 2nd post in 2 days where someone has this great idea of dropping a ton of cash on sleeves and forged goodies and doesn't even mention fuel management.
yes, this is a statement and a suggestion. Now go read up on the current rom editors if your feeling brave...

Yes...you have the right idea for building your motor, but dont forget fuel management.
Try hondata or ubderdata.
If you're going to go that far with the head..might as well throw in a more aggressive camshaft.
Don't forget about keeping everything cool, such as your radiator. You might want to upgrade that too. At least get a dual core radiator from the dohc vtec delsols.

You should swap to DOHC and get an intake, headerz, a big fart can, roll cage, racing seats, those Z3 fenders, and a huge tach... then your car would be really fast.
Seriously though, keep your motor stock and tune it well to about 200whp. Oh and do some research.

Head:
fully port and polish - not necessary
crower or skunk 2 complete valvetrain - not necessary
stock cams
Block
9 to 1 comp prolly (je, wiesco, or srp pistons at .05mm overbore)
Rs Sleeve - not necessary
eagle rods
Turbo kit
prolly a T3 - go with a T3/T4 with a .48 exhaust wheel.

What's the point of building the head up so you can rev higher, but not have a cam that will make more power at those higher rpms?

People have gone 10's on LS motors without VTEC, doesn't mean it's a better choice than running a VTEC head. Bigger cam is definitely worthwhile.

My new setup made power out till 7800 redline where I stopped with a stock cam and upgraded valvetrain, I'm sure if i decided to go further, power would have kept climbing. Don't be so quick to jump down some guys throat because he's is asking questions that you don't have the answer too.

You made power all the way to 7800 rpms with a stock Z6 cam? You must have had some headwork done... maybe some boost creep?
Anyways, this guy's questions were way too broad to answer everything. It really sounds like this guy just needs to do a little research first. Although he has a buddy that runs high 10's with a SOHC and stock cam, so why not just ask him...
