Turbo selection on a SOHC?
I've decided to abandon the B-series idea and pursue the less conventional route and build up a SOHC. I'm searching for an ideal turbo to produce somewhere in the neighborhood of 250-280whp at modest boost levels (around 12-15psi). Suggestions on manifolds would be appreciated as well. The set up will consist of a D16Z6, forged pistons and rods with factory sleeves. Minimal head modification, just upgraded valvetrain and undecided on cam as of yet. Tuning is via Uberdata. Some set ups and E.T.'s would help out as well. Thank you all for your contributions!

well if I had the $ to buy a new turbo yo replace my SC50 .63ar I would go for the GT28RS .82ar with no hesitation. I did many search and for a 300whp street driven SOHC its the best turbo you can get. I has a good power until the redline, awsome powerband, proven reliability, very good spool time etc... It also gives more torque than any other turbo that gives the same power and that is a real good point.
You cant go wrong with this one. The only bad thing its his price...... but it well worth it.

thats the turbo im talking about ^^^^. The cool thing is that you can get it with the T25 flange or the T3 flange. So it would fit a T3 manifold or a T25 manifold.
