Default Turbo ?s. Tial 38mm wg/s300 base map

Couple questions new to the turbo scene. Car is 95 civic
Coupe w/jdm b16 usual swap.
Mods
Exedy stage 1 clutch
Fidanza 9pm flywheel
Stock LSD trans
Apexi n1 exhaust
Invidia test pipe
Type R cams

- already installed go autoworks turbo kit with the Tial
38mm waste gate to adj boost/psi pressure you on change out
the internal spring to a different spring rate? This eliminates
the use of a boost controller?

2nd question. A real noob question. After the injectors and turbo
Kit are done. I'm getting the s300 installed by phearable.net

Do I need to ask for a base map? (to get the car running/drivable).My
problem is I need to drive the car almost 40mi to get to the shop where it will be tuned

Thx in advance

drive the car with the stock injectors and stock ecu and either the wastegate spring pulled or BOV not attached so the engine doesn't pressurize

the WG spring can control boost, but only at a fixed point. if you run a .5 bar spring for example a boost controller will let you go anywhere above that without a spring change

If you have a wideband gauge kit to monitor your air fuel ratios, you can install your injectors/map sensor & get a FREE basemap from us with the purchase of your hondata system to drive on.

If you don't have a wideband, you should get one (Innovate MTX-L gauge kit $199).

If you can't afford one, you can run on the stock injectors with a coupler disconnected so you won't build boost....

Let me know if you have any other questions.
