Turbo not getting oil from oil feed line?
Hey, I got a b16a2 been putting a turbo on it for past 2 or 3 days well I took the oil sending unit out and ran the oil feed line to the turbo to it and left the return hose open to prime the turbo, I cranked stopped cranked stopped and so on and my battery almost went dead but no oil? i took the feed line off the back of the block and turned the motor over to see if any oil came out of the hole where the sending unit goes and nothing at all came out? WTF? it ran just fine before is there 2 sending units? am i missing something? please help

Might need to actually start it so the pump turns over quick enough. I had to on my z6 when I did my first turbo. I tried just turning it over like you did and nothing. It took a good 5 to 10 sec to get oil coming out the oil line on the turbo end.
You can also try unplugging the wires to the dizzy so you dont get spark and then just keep it cranking.

Take plugs off to get more rpms with start. i Changed oil n filter and i took my resistor box wiring off (no fuel then) cranked 5 sec. Then light it up and instant 100psi d16z6 oem pump ported. I cranked some when the engine was new and it was getting oil right away.
