Default turbo noob please help

Plain and simple I want to do something different!
So I want to do a rear mount turbo. The question is, why do i need to plumb oil from the motor?

Why can't I make a oil reservoir and pump oil in a circle in the back of the car? Does the turbo need hot oil?

Why not go with a traditional setup with the turbo in the engine bay? There are many many parts available for the f series and would make everything simple, not to mention that turbo might too small for a rear mount.

considering that a turbo is spinning like 10x faster than your RPMs it builds a lot of heat, the oil helps keep it from overheating. dont oil pumps run off of the engines power?

The guy was simply trying to offer some good advice. Your gonna end up spending way more money for worse results than a traditional setup. While it it possible to do a setup like you are wanting I'm sure the people that know how to aren't going to help you with an attitude like that.

I found my answer here is a site http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/oilsystems.htm under the chart at the bottom they say that they do just what I want. They use a separate oil system for the turbo!

stop wasting our time if your just going to find a link like that and convince yourself of what you had already set in your mind. There was absolutely no need to make a post for this.
