95 LS

I just bought a 95' LS and have started piecing a turbo kit together. I eventually want a t3/t4 turbo but need to know if the garret turbo my friend gave me will work on a t3 flange for now. It looks small and has .48a/r on the turbine housing, the compressor housing has been polished so it doesn't have the ar on it but it says 42 just on the inside of the compressor outlet. the compressor wheel has a total of 12 blades paired in two's. The tag on the center section says garret s/n 7hp0035 and p/n 409174-0076. It also has a 5 bolt flange for the down pipe. Any idea on what kind of garret turbo it is and if it has a t/3 flange? I know a picture would be a lot easier but i dont have access to a dig. camera right now. Also the turbo has an internal wastegate but the whole thing is missing and I was wondering if there is a way to close up the hole where it was so that i can run an external wastegate until I get the t3/t4. Sorry about the long question but any help would be greatly appreciated.

probably off a saab or volvo. its just a straight t3, what i have on my car right now. and yes, you should be able to weld the wastgate flap closed.

do u noe what model do these t3 turbos come on for volvos or saabs? thanks

got mine from a saab 900 (late 80s). Also the older 740 volvos.
