Default Building my block, need some specifics

I've got a B18C5 block that I'm looking to boost a little bit more with. I'm gonna go with some custom JE pistons at around 9.8:1 C/R along with eagle rods, but I've been told to go with an LS crank for a little extra displacement.

-Is this wise?
-What pistons do I need to order, LS or B18C5 pistons? I know I need the LS Eagle rods, i'm just not sure which piston to order.

I'm gonna retain the stock sleeves and most likely go to an InlinePro BlockGuard for a little more rigidity. I hope to be able to run about 12-14 psi on pump gas with this (Hondata 3b and looking to get 720cc injectors), does that seem possible? Any help is appreciated, I tried the search but didn't come up with much. Thanks, Todd.

Keep the crank stock and sleeve the block. If you want more displacement, go to 83 mm on the sleeves. You wont need a blockguard and you can safely boost 15 lbs. JE and Eagle are a good choice with the Hondata and 720's. If this motor is for the street, you may want to lower the c/r a little. A flat top piston should be about right. Keep it simple.

I was under the impression that the ITR sleeves were a little better than most B-series blocks... I read that awhile back and you know what they say about believing everything you read . Thanks for the advice, swapping cranks is just a thought at this point. Thanks again, EV.

b18c is still b18c
stronger than the rest, but not stronger than itself

I would suggest that if you gonna sleeve it, then dont. You can sell that block for good money to some fool who is looking to go N/A just for bragging rights of having a C5 bottom end. You can pickup any C1 block that has been blown up for anywhere between 10-200 dollars--this is what you want to have sent out to be sleeved.
Sorry for my reply not being pertinent to exactly what you asked, but this would be my choice if I was asking your proposed question.

Definitely keep the crank stock. If you can afford it, as said B4, sleeve it. then bore it for more displacement. Who needs displacement when you have a built bottom end, sleeved w/ boost ?
