Did you get your CCNA first?

My CCNA teacher was a crackpot and I wasn't wasting $150 on a test when I had no idea WTF I was doing.

Partially on topic for those who chose to go with tubular manifolds and brace them somehow, do you have any picts or descriptions of how you did this? I'm off to search. </TD></TR></TABLE>

I thought you only had to do that with the cheap ones like the SSAC. I had a Lovefab on the car for a while and I never braced it, even ran it without a flex section for a bit until I got my exhaust all sorted out. Lovefab didn't say it needed to be braced and it's got a lifetime warranty against cracking. Here's a picture of it:

I went straight for CCIE, bought a bunch of used routers and switches off of ebay, bought a bunch of prep labs from CCIE Boot Camp, and self-studied for it. It took a couple of years of hard work, but has been well worth it.

WTF? I thought you had to get your CCNA, then CCNP, then a few other ones such as swtiching, in order to get your CCIE.

No, just 2 tests, the CCIE online multiple-guess and the CCIE lab. The lab is a bitch though, so much stress some of my hair came in white for a while afterward.

CISCO labs. God I hated those retarded ******* things. Go back with our lab books, punch in some keys, go back to our desks. I remember the CCNA program where we had to make cables as part of one of our tests. Some color blind kid was having a bitch of a time.

And the Multiple answer/Multiple choice tests sucked too. So many things where the answers could have gone one way or another.

edit: I say **** CISCO, but I would take a job selling their ****.
