How do you go to college and not have any money? I mean, how do you pay for gas, food, toothpaste, ect?

I'm starting to worry about my parents leaving in the spring. My mom is putting me in an apartment, but how in the hell am I supposed to afford food? I don't want to live off of ramen for 3 years.

1) JDMJoe has to be bullshitting us, if this is not so, then he is from Mars.
2) Syntax &gt; ALL of us. This is after all H-T, spelling is not a prerequesite (and i don't really give a **** if i spelled it correctly) for admission (thank god, because I would be sitting outside). I know many Humanities majors who cannot spell well enough to earn a passing grade on a pre-school assignment. Unfortunately, spelling is rather unimportant in a world full of Microsoft applications that tell you a mistake was made even before you hit the spellcheck button.

Well At this point I have credit line of about 10K
so I live off credit and Hustle

I just make my own way do odd jobs build things tear things down anything I can do to earn an hosent check It only takes about 700 a month to live decent but you have to just be stingy with your money, Something I failed on bad

You need to be OPEN MINDED money is just paper people trade it for work or help

I'm a network engineer with 15 years of experience and a CCIE. The tech market is picking up and there's some good work out there now. I mostly do internetwork infrastructure and security design and implementation, but I've been doing pre-sales consulting for the past year. The commissions are nice, but I'm actually getting sick of it. I'm thinking of doing an infrastructure buildout for a decent-sized divestiture operation, should keep me busy for a few years and be a lot of fun. The really hot ticket in the networking world now is IP Telephony, tons of great work for IPT engineers out there.

Ohhh, a cisco certified guy, cool stuff. I was thinking about getting my CCNP when I was in school just to have something to fall back on, but I got too lazy to do school, work and that at the same time.

Yeah, I chose school. However you still make quite a bit more $$$ than me. Maybe it's time to go another route.
