Surging above 5000 rpm?

Surging above 5000 rpm?
I have a 99 Civic EX with a Greddy Turbo Kit . Just recently when I'm above 5000 rpm in 2nd gear and higher I feel a surging. Also when I'm in boost it sounds different then when everything was working correctly. I was wondering if anyone knew what the problem could be because it just happened a couple of days ago.
