Default Tuning problem

I'm currently running 12psi with my greddy 15g kit intercooled on my 99 EX. I'm using DSM 450's with an SAFC and I just got my PLX wideband so I wired it up and started to see where I was at. Well I was way too lean to begin with so I richened it up slowly, and got my settings to

High throttle
1k -42%
2k -40%
3k -38%
3.5k -36%
4k -34%
5k -31%
6k -29%
7k -29%

I even changed the last 2 settings to -26% and it still didn't drop very much. Could the problem be I'm not gettning an acurate reading becasue the bung in my exhaust is where the cat used to be?? Just wondering if it needs to be closer to the turbo. I get a consistant 12 to 1 AF ratio, and then starts leaning out big time around 6k where I change it to -29%. This is reading it in third gear as well. Should I just keep going richer to see if it changes? Or could this be another problem that I just dont know??

You're not going to like it when I say this but, do yourself a favor and chuck the SAFC garbage. It's just a hack there are so many other avenues thhat you can explore. Chip it and tuner it the car will be much stronger and have better driveability. I could even tune it over the internet if you had a burner for the chip. I bet you I could send you a basemap judging by your setup and it would run better. Since you have a PLX you log it send it to me via email since I have an R-500 and make changes appropriately. read the plugs for good measure to make sure theres no detonation and you're done.

OOps ps you would have to convert to OBD1. Which I can set you up with a plug-in ready to go setup also.

Oh I'm not goign to argue with you at all, I am in the process of making the change to Uberdata, just have been doing all the research to understand it all and what not, and now I just need a chipped p28, and a burner. I got the wideband first because for now, I have to drive my car everyday, just wanted to make sure I'm being safe on my settings until I get the ECU and burner. If either you or anyone else has a very reputable person or place that I can get a Uberdata chipped p28 with a basemap that would be awesome. I've talked to a few people on here and there seems to be quite a few to choose from. I'd be willing to buy that stuff asap. I'm goign to get the burner from Moates.com and then the ECU from wherever else. The only reason I asked the Lean situation is because I didn't know if it was just the hack, or possible something else that needed to be brought to my attention. Thanks guys.

Uberdata. . As for your current issue go ahead and try a drastic change on the upper RPM settings the worst it could do is make you run rich which is better than what you are doing. If you get it down to -1% and still no change then it might be an equipment issue.

That was going to be my next question. I figured I could keep making it run richer and richer since at -50% I'm basically cutting the fuel in half with the DSM's, but I'm going to give it a shot down to like -10 just for the hell of it to see if it changes, if not, then no more boosting high with the hack and just going to wait for a p28 uber chipped ecu.
