Default sputtering problem

got a stock z6 wid a greddy turbo kit . everytime i speed it feels like its boggen out . then the check engine light turn on .i got a tuned ecu by phearable.net . wen i use my frends s300 everything ok. cud it be a map sensor . or shud i get a s200

could be, a little more info would be nice.

check engine light turning on? how is the map set up on the phearable? did he set it to go in limp mode at a certain rpm? too many ?marks

the map sensor in the ecu is tuned to read 11 psi. im only running 7psi. I dont kno all the details of the ecu because i bought it off a frend. im not sure what limp mode means either. it sputters in 1st n 2nd gear around 4 or 5grand

so you havent acutally been tuned?

probably leaning out like crap. Im guessing you dont have a wideband as well.

nope just slap the turbo on a couple days ago and i didnt get a wideband yet. what do u think i should do or get to fix the problem and make it faster

Park it until you get it tuned before you mess anything els up.

1. Is the check engine light on? If so, read the codes & get back to us :-)
2. Did you gap the plugs properly? Are you running the proper spark plugs?
3. Are you using a wideband to monitor your air fuel ratios? If not, don't drive the vehicle under full throttle conditions.
4. Contact phearable.net directly for further technical support if needed.

i took out the catylitc converter and it felt so much better but it sputters but not as bad as before i got ngk plugs i didnt get a wideband yet but planning on to get one. how much do they go for?

They start at $199.99 for an innovate lc-1 without a gauge and go up from there.

Phearable.net ecus come programed for what the customer orders.
