Default Hondata question

I just installed a hondata 2b into a guys car and I'm having a few problems. First the red light is flashing and it has a rev limiter of 4k. If the program is for a 3 bar map sensor and the car has a stock map could that be a problem?

That could very likely be the problem. The blinking red light signifies a incomplete Rom image, or a problem with the ecu type selected than what is being used. Also make sure the rom image wasnt created for the s100/s200 V3 software and not converted back to the 2b/3b V2.5.

I'm sorry its a s200. The ecu is a p06 and is running a ls program. The check engine light stays on and when I check the code the light doesn't blink either.

Who socketed the ECU? Did you rewrite the map to use the stock map sensor instead of the 3-bar?

except that probably wasn't the problem drew, that connection was solid when i was testing it later and it wouldn't even idle, and the wiring harness is not the problem, dale just doesn't want to admit that it might be the unit or his earlier oversight
i have p72 s200 w/boost went to race bike on highway, hondata crapped out

Hondata socketed the ecu and alamo burnt the map. I'll find out today if its burnt for a 3 bar or not.
