Default Someone with Vortech BOV: please confirm this!

Just wanted to know if your BOV is open when you're idling? Mine's open..
and I can hear air sucked in...

Please don't reply if you don't have a Vortech BOV, and if you don't know
for sure.

The Vortech BOV and Greddy Type S are similar internally.

My Type S is open at idle and u can feel the air slightly sucking in.

My friend has a Vortech BOV and its also open at idle.

Thank you! Man, people were saying that it should be shut, and I've
been going crazy trying to figure out what was wrong.

My vortech was open during idle too... Don't remember exactly, but if I held my hand over the mouth of the blow off valve, i would feel a slight breeze.

It closes as you decrease vacuum/increase boost. You COULD adjust it so that the valve closes more but the BOV might not open up at all when U release the Throttle.

Also, thats why the new Blitz's BOV utilize a Filter on the end to stop it from sucking in dirt.
