Default search isnt working now guys, how do i adjust bov?

im just trying to make sure my turbo is running right cause my times were bad. they are in another post. so i'm running 8psi roughly and i was turning the valve to the hard side so boost pressure won't come out. should any air come out at idle, i know it won't becuase the engine is still at vacumm, so should the bov be "sucking" in any air? how do i do it?

The only thing I know is the BOV should be adjusted so it sucks NO air at idle.

My bov is open when the engine is idling an closes when you hit the accelerater...when you let off the accelerator...it opens...

That is how mine works as well MiraiZ, and I have the same setup as you. I've never messed with around with adjusting it, so I'm also interested in what is normal.

should be closed at idle. if u like it to be open u might as well stick a filter on it. u can suck something in. keep it closed at idle and let the intake filter do the sucking. heh

if u cant see it, stick your finger in there with the car running and tighten until the valve is shut. give it a couple quick revs and double check if its closed.

So that is the only thing the adjusting bolt does? What's odd if the f-max kit actually came with a filter to go on the BOV.
