Default sohc setup sound good?

well i blew up my d16z6 in my 93 si hatch and i am in the process of putting together another motor, i have an old motor from my 95 dx sittin around and i was gonna do a mini-me swap with it, i plan on running a greddy kit at like 6-8 psi and i was wondering a couple of things?

is an intercooler def important?

by running colder plugs what does this mean, i will be buying plugs for it this week and i want to know (sounds stupid but id like to know)

i will be puttin a d16z6 head on that 1.5 block, will the compression be too high for boost? if not how many pounds could it handle stock with a d16y8 headgasket

what trainy should i use, the dx trainy or an si trainy?

what clutch would you all recommend?

what all do you recommend for engine management, i am new to the FI forum and would appreciate all and any help

The intercooler helps you run more boost. You run colder plugs if its a daily driven car for sure... With the D16y8 on a stock head gasket you can push around 12 psi. of boost. If you do the fuel and timming right. You will have to deal with the MAP sensor. Go with a ACT at least a stage 3. Get a Hondata if you have the cash.

Good Luck!!!!!!

It will pretty much always depend on your fuel management.

well what would be good fuel management, there are no dynos around here, so what would be the best bet, i might do a homemade turbo, or try to get a greddy one??? would injectors off a b17 work, or atleast be any better, at most right now i plan to run 8 pounds
