I was looking at the golden eagle and darton sleeves but don't know wich one i should get maybe some advice from guys who have done it or with more experience.

im planing on boostin aroude 400whp with sleeves and piston rods ...

It depends on how far the crack goes down on the block, but most of the time it can still be used.

I know with Benson's stuff, 4-6 inches is no problem.

It will also depend on if the stock liner is cracked or if the crack goes all the way through the aluminum.

I personally use Golden Eagle, You should try to get a pic of the block and email it over to them, this way you won't waste mula. Have had no problems with re sleeved block. boosting 35.lbs

sales@goldeneaglemfg.com / or you can pm them on H-T.

alright before this gets into a pissing match.

Op, send pics of your block to golden eagle and Laskey Racing. See what they say and go from there.

Everyone knows the whole sleeve deal so lets just help out the op. I can already forsee this thread going downhill

If you have a question on wether what company to send you block to try searching benson vs golden eagle or sleeved blocks.. There is plenty of info on here and there is no need to waste bandwidth on more arguements. Either way they are both good companies its just ppl's opinions and history with blocks.
