Another blockguard question
I want to do it the right way, could a machine shop completely weld it in, flatwith the deck surface, then resurface the deck itself so its all nice and flat and looks even? I'm gonna rebore my block again too so dont worry about warping, anything else i should do at this time to reinforce my block? The deal with my 2.0 darton block i dont think is gonna work out, lemme know guys, thanks

You said that you wanted to "do it the right way", so sleeving it is the right way.
BTW how much power are you planning to make? You may not need all of this.

Re: Another blockguard question (ekb18c)
Welps, doing the right way as referring to installing a block guard, after reading many posts i'm only looking for 350WHP max... Which shouldnt be much on stock sleeves. If your wondering why i would dish out extra money for a Darton block is because this local guy was suppose to sell it to me but now he keeps changing his mind.

I'd sleeve it and stop worrying about my sleeves cracking.
IMO block guards are a waste of money. Weld it to the block? Blah! That's wasting a block.
Do it right once! Sleeve the sucker!!
