bad *** setup. I just skimed through all the pages for pics, and I must say great work. So are you going to actually keep it registored, or is it going to be a track queen?

Have you even looked at the pictures? That thing is caged to hell and back. Curious...why don't you think it's going to make it down the road straight?

got to love michigan. We are the most unhealthy state in the union, are the most fat of any state, close to most smokers, and on the verge of having some of the worst air quality. And to top it off, no emmissions testing. You can run a dirty as you want, and there is no athority stopping you.

Hmmmmm, sounds like South Carolina with their hate for the atmosphere and safe cars .

we do not have emissions nor inspection.
basically if it will make it down the road without
causing a trafic problem it is all good

hehe, ya, thats about it!
Naw, no new pictures. There probably wont be for quite some time yet, its at a standstill right now.
As for going down the road straight, that wont be a problem. But launching straight...that has yet to be seen. Im going to make a set of traction bars which should help ALOT, because then all the stresses arent placed on just the tubular "stays" to keep the car straight. Instead, the majority of the stresses will be placed toward the outter frame "ribs"(where the jack points are), which if done right, should ultimately produce a straight launch, and an all around straight driving car.

you could always add water injection for the weight of the water tank. just a suggestion since you have turbo anyways...

Wow. This is the longest thread I have ever read. I can honestly say I never lost interest. I might have lost a bit of vision in my eyes from staring at the computer screen so close though. I'm so impressed with this project. It's so cool to see someone so down to earth and so independent take on a project like this. It makes me want to go out and buy a real welder and just start welding **** together. I'm super jelous of your skills. Very nice work. Keep it up man. You have a gigantic cheering croud here for ya.
