I LOVE the stock seats. They grip you very well, especially with the harnesses.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Can tell you from ontrack experience this is far from the truth. I'm sure you'll never see high G's in that thing, but stock seats out of any honda are not adequite with a good suspension setup (exception maybe JDM R recaros, but deff with harness). I would without hesitation pick up a set of seats to help clear that bar.

Actually, I want to find a set of SRT-4 seats. Im in love with them since I got my peon. I havent done any kind of racing with them, but ya, they stomp the honda seats any day
Those will be way taller than honda seats. Pony up and get a set of seats, save you some serious lbs too. I know you're not near yet, but dont forget to put an axle hub or bolt setup back in the spindles up front.

that was the first thing I did when I pulled the engine
Id rather use a bolt because of weight, this shouldnt be an issue correct?
Basically, its just there to keep the bearings tensioned, shouldnt need splines for anything. I tried cutting the axle ends...lol. ya, I cant do that with the tools that I possess.

He likes it! So do I, I spend probably 2 hours more per-day welding than w/out him. He packs everything, prints shipping labels, and runs them to UPS for me. That time adds up quick! This week we've been dead though because of lack of flanges. SO, hes been helping put a 60-1 on the Peon SRT-4, and lil odds and ends around the shop.
I recieved my new stock bumper today, so front end reconstruction will begin today. Itll look like a freaking car again!!! w00 w00!

Heres some pics of the Peon's new turbo. Its fairly laggy, full boost at 4k rpm. Thats great for a Honda when the average redline is 8k rpm. These 2.4s can only go to 6k.
Personally I like it ALOT better than the stock turbo, because you have to work to get into boost. Before, you had to work to stay OUT of boost. I tell you what though, when boost hits, you better hold on! Id estimate Im putting around 280 to the front wheels. 3" open exhaust, no mufflers/resonators(ya its loud). 12 psi spring in the WG, actualy hits full boost. Id put an MBC on there, but its crazy fast as it is, and I dont want to blow anything up

HONDA pictures coming tonight!

I believe its a .82. I honestly never even bothered to look, its my GFs brand new rebuild(60-1 hifi), and shes getting one of my S housing 60-1s.
Yes it was a BITCH to install. Actually, installation went VERY easy, probably the same as a honda(well, easier, everything was already there!). Removal was a COMPLETE *****! I had to remove the compressor side of the turbo from the turbo/mani/DP combo because I jsut couldnt get it out of the car! I was half tempted to grap the engine hoist and start yankin the motor out. I got it though
On the Sol, got all the body panels mocked up for the body panel brackets to be welded on. Didnt have enough material, so tomorrow, my last day w/out flanges will be spent making body-panel mounts.

Im out of flanges, fresh out. So, Im pretty much sitting here making collectors all week, and doing odds and ends projects. The turbo flange on the Peon I cut apart one of my jigs because I HAD to get it done for Cast manifold developement by this week.(and Im not going to put a nasty flange on a customers $800 manifold)
Peon runs good, had an old **** pull out in front of me at the top of 3rd gear, that was the scariest thing Ive ever witnessed(kinda like GT3, when youre dodging traffic). Its wiered, when it happened, I pictured myself playing that game...lol. Somehow I missed him! Had to swerve to the right, then back to the left to avoid a 10 ft snow drift. When I was straight again, I was crusing along at 60mph. I bet the line of traffic in the other lane cringed when they saw me flying by them at 80 or so, then have that big black Lincoln pull out in front of me
Ya, lesson for the day, dont drive like an ******* leaving a busy intersection!
