I guess we all better stay out of our basments then! I know its not the ideal jackstand, but Ive been pounding, jerking, welding, and cutting away at this car for the past 3 weeks, and the only time it moves is when i try to pick it up
Heres the pictures from this weekends work. Not too much more done, got the new puppy, have to house-train it

Whats left of the old H22 pistons

My Griffin radiator Think Ill have any cooling problems w/this? I dont!

well from a fellow welder/fabricators point of view
also a ME major student

i will say this you have some pretty decent welding skills
i especially like your crafstmanship on the header
another nice touch is how you added in the built in camber adjusters
another cool thing would to use more titanium in your project
i would look into getting ahold of some 6alV4 titanium for the stiffnes
and it is also a lightweight titanium alloy

the only thing i would add to the chassis is a piece to stiffen
up the front suspension on the bottom
like where the two front LCA's mount
i dunno i mean the factory doesn't use them
but think about it the factory didn't desighn
their factory front ends to ride wheelies either

plasma cutter OWNZ. Notch tubes w/plasma cutter, clean up w/grinder if need-be, and weld it up!
Ya, I still need a few braces in the front. I may have to get rid of the heater core to run a cross-brace from door bar to door bar, and then I can go from the UCA/Strut mounts through the middle of the firewall, to this brace.
I just DONT want this thing to fall apart when I hit the first big bump(or the 140th).

lol, I just noticed that. Its in really good shape in person. Whoever installed it in Jens car didnt bother removing it first before bombing the engine bay w/primer.
Im gonna shine up up quite a bit, itll be very sweet.
