Default Question about my new GT28RS... ( no barbed fitting on the compressor )

Ok it may seem weird but I just realized that when I was running my SC50 my tuner hooked a hose on the compressor housing that was coming from the wastegate.

I want to keep the same patern of hose for my boost control GM solenoid.

Should I tap in the housing and just install a new barbed fitting ?

I think that it should be as simple but I just want someone to confirm my idea.

Thanks

I know the closer to the compressor housing, the better.
