yeah, loosen all the bolts a few turn and sometimes it requires sticking a ratchet in the outlet hole of the compressor to get a little leverage.

it's just a term used to describe the rotating of the compressor or turbine on a turbo to maintain the vertical position of the center section and allowing you to "aim" the housings.

yeah, some force is required, rap the ratchet in a rag or something, just to cusion it against the aluminum of the compressor outlet. once you get it going the first time it'll free up a little more.

well how much pressure should i be putting on it.

im standing on the manifold, and pulling as hard as i can, at an awkward angle. but i am pulling pretty damn tough.

ill get it in a vice tomorrow, but am kinda scared to put too much force into it.

lol, yea. the weird thing is, is i have rotated used turbo compressors that wa WAAAAYYYY easier than this.

i reall cant get it to move, i can get it to slip like 1/2 inch, but thats it.

i had the same problem.. i took a rubber mallet and loosened the bolts evenly ALOT like 1 turn before they would come out.. then i hit the bolts directly very lightly and the compressor will start to come off..but u dont want to pull it off, just enough so that it will move alittle more freely. just be careful, you dont want to hit the compressor housing against the blades and damage them..

its not bad, you just may accidently angle the compressor housing enough so that it damages the blades.
