Compressor housing nipple broke!
Hey guys, i dont know how the nipple on my compressor housing broke. Im using an EBC so it was connected to one of the ports of the EBC with a vac hose. Now that the nipple broke, i dont really know what to do? Someone guide me here. The vac hose is just hanging from the EBC port not connected to anything. The other port is already to the WG. Need some help! Thanks

That's a PITA to remove, I had to do it at the track once.
Hopefully it is a brass or aluminum fitting.
I chisled straight down at the fitting, to make a "break" in it like a piston ring. Then it pretty much spun right out backwards.

I'm guessing it's the nipple near the turbo's outlet. It would probably be 1/8" NPT thread. They should have something like that over there, NPT fittings are fairly universal - British-influenced countries are about the only ones that don't use NPT.
You still have options if you can't find a fitting, or the threads are junk. They're just not simple.
A) weld up the hole, and tee into a vacuum line for the solenoid tube.
B) weld up the hole, and add a nipple to your charge piping (anywhere before the throttle body
C) drill & tap a new hole, or re-tap the old hole for a larger fitting in your country's common fitting size
One more thing you might want to try is looking on some of the asian ebays, or even the english version. Many chinese factories have NPT fittings they sell to the USA for various things, and they are very cheap.

He said he's in Asia. Shipping would be a huge hassle, not to mention expensive. USA doesn't offer $0.20 international shipping like Chinese vendors do on ebay.

Thanks for the replies, i think i would go with welding up the hole, and T the vac line for the solenoid. Just a question though, does this affect anything? Any specific difference?
