i read somewhere on this forum that you could hook up the line that comes from the turbo to a vacuum line from the intake manifold so that instead of you boosting from the actual turbo you get more solid boost from intake pressure right now i'm running a greddy boost controller just hooked up from the turbo to the wastegate actuator. i just want to post to see is anyone here is doing it.

Yes, it has been done. And yes you get a better reading if you tap the manifold for boost pressure. However must of us are too lazy to do it.

 

i just Td mine into one of the manifold lines and put a cap on the little turbo nipple. actually makes it easier to get to if you are the type of person that constantly takes your car apart(like me)
