Has anyone got an Accord with the F22 that they have turboed or heard of anyone that has done it? What is the set up; like exhaust, intake, fuel system (regulators, pumps, filter etc.), ignition, fuel managment, ecu, plugs, fuel, bottom end upgrades etc. etc.?

I have a 97 Accord with the F22 and am planning on the F-max kit using the stock internals in the spring. Is this just an expensive way to blow my motor or do I stand a chance of running this set up for a couple of years? I have a greddy exhuast, Random hi flo cat, MSD ingnition and cap, fuel pressure regulator, pulleys and an intake.

There was an accord LX in town with a F-Max kit <basically, buit it was custom> with only a super 60 t-3. Pretty small turbo. Car was GREAT fun and with NO tuning went 14.60 at only 7 psi intercooled.

I had a drag II kit on my 97 ex, 9 psi with as much tuning as you can do on a car with a pump/fmu setup and I gotta agree it was great fun. However I had a careeer change and no longer had the time or the interest to do the day to day maintenance a turbo honda needs so I sold my turbo. Here is a pic of my install:

Looks just like my EX(xcpt turbo of course),,, same color etc. Hey where is battery? How much and what day to day maint?? I have never owned a turbo,,, fmu does what?

Stock type plugs? What gap?

Where is fuelpump? In tank? Did you change injectors?
