Default Question

so im getting a really good deal on a turbo setup for a b series that i cant pass up...my question is should i put it on something else or boost my stock jdm itr motor? im a little concerned because of my compression and i was only going to boost about 6 pounds max...but the 11.1:1 compression scares me..the last thing i want to do is detonate a 4500 dollar motor...any suggestions would be great

I would throw a stock GSR bottom end in there and keep the ITR head. Or put a cometic head gasket on the ITR. But that almost defeats the purpose of it.

But you can run the ITR motor with boost, just make sure you are tuned almost immediately.

Then there isn't a reason you can't boost the ITR motor. Just make sure to get the best gas you can at the pump
