Default B18C6 and low boost?

Hello, I am new here
I have a B18C6 (Euro ITR) and CR is 11.1:1 like the JDM ITR. I'm not an expert but I've been reading alot about F/I and my plan is to slowly gather the necessary parts to create a custom turbo kit for my internally stock ITR. I really wanna leave it alone internally and keep stock compression...and I don't want to worry about blowing my motor So my question is how many psi can be considered safe with this compression...7 psi? Ah and obviously it will get tuned...most likely hondata...thanks guys!

with good tuning that would be a sick setup!!!! Different turbo's put down different amounts of power, so really the question really is how much power can this motor handle under good tuning? I would guess 275-300whp!! maybe more!!!!

but how many psi can be considered safe? And for anyone who has done this on a stock R what other safety stuff besides a stronger timing belt should I consider getting?

when you ask a question, listen to the answer.

YOU CAN NOT BASE IT ON PSI.

psi on a t25 is different than psi on a t3/4. i wasnt going to say it until i read your last post.......

What size o t3?
There is a t3 off of a saab that has an A/R of .42 or there is a t3/60-1 that can have an A/R of about .82. one will make gobbs more power then the other at the same boost level.
Since it's probably going to be a street car I would recomend the common t3t4 hybrid turbo. (somewhere around .57 trim .63 A/R) that should net you about 300hp on 7-8psi if tuned with hondata properly.
Like it was stated before, you cant go by psi to determin what your motor can handle. 10psi is NOT 10psi on every turbo,

low boost, anywhere from 7-10lbs depending on tuning

let's say I've been getting mixed opinions about t3 vs. t3t4...but let's say I go with the t3t4, you say 7-8psi is ok...I know it all depends on tuning but there still has to be a limit...
I basically wanted to find out what kind of setup other people with R's have, but I searched and can't find many people with non rebuilt R's going turbo...

Depends on what size of turbo.
Like I said and others have said before. Get a small t3 turbo you could run 12psi and make 300hp or get a large t3 or t3t4 run 7psi and make 300hp.
PSI is just a measurment of resistance, actual hp is what is going to limit you.
While both turbo's are making 300hp the smaller one will put more strain on your engine.
Tuning also plays a large role in how much power you can make.
If you have shitty tuning you may blow your engine at 3psi (regardless of the turbo size) or if you have good tuning it will last at 12psi.
Timing, cylinder perssures,EGT's, AFR will be more of a problem for you then psi.
But just to make you happy, If you have good tuning (hondata tuned by a qualified tuner)and a t3/60-1 you should be fine keeping it below 10psi.
