Safe to boost on my poorman's itr?
I'm going to be purchasing a turbo kit soon from a friend for cheap and I was wondering if boosting on my poorman's itr motor would be safe? The turbo kit includes t3/t4 turbo, not sure of exact trim. How many lbs of boost would keep the car on the safe side?
the setup:
gsr block:
-usdm itr pistons
-rebuilt ~30,000 miles (bored/honed/new oem rings)
gsr head:
-itr cams
-stock valvetrain
-skunk2 intake manifold with ported runners
-70mm bbk tb
the compression should be 10.8-11:1 according to the compression calculators online.
car made 184whp 130tq sae corrected with hytech knockoff header, 2.5'' exhaust, and tuned.
tried to search for itr motors that were boosted but had no luck. i remember seeing a few before. thanks in advance.
