Recent dyno (1bar)

old dyno (same 1bar)

I dont know what it could be. The differences in this setup from my previous is:
83mm instead of .20
built block (sleeves,rods, 9:1 pistons)
itr 98 spec intake cam (old was stock b16 cam)
turboxs dual stage boost controller (old was apexi avc-d)
Neptune (s200b old)
Stock cat (old was dynoed using a test pipe)

my old greddy kit was awesome, i shouldn't have sold it. This new one is eh wtf.

Mine is huge like BoostR41. This was done recently. Something is up with the ignition up top, but that's a different topic.
I see boost hitting just over 2500 and I am at full boost (11 psi) by 4500, give or take a few 100 rpms

Setup:
B16A
9.9 SRP Pistons
Crower Rods
ACL Bearings
ARP head studs
OEM Head gasket
Skunk2 Cam Gears
550 RC's
MSD 6A w/ Blaster SS coil
FMIC w/ Blitz BOV
Greddy 18G kit
Greddy MBC
AEM EMS

Wow, that is a big difference. Might be the stock cat.

I soon intend to be selling an internally gated T25 flanged 10CM Housing.
3 bolt discharge...
I got it from Japan.
This would allow people to replace the greddy housing and make a custom DP...

PM offers...

j.e or wisco pistons 9.1 CR
eagle h-beam rods
walbro 255

oe head gasket

dsm 450's with resistor box
kteller 2.5inch dp
port wastegate
stock crank, cams/head
fpr
gm 3-bar
oil oressure gauge and egt gauge
re-tune uberdata
i am sure i am missing a few things here and there
i figure that the whole build with tune will cost around $1600-1900, with me putting the motor together.
300whp posssible if not tell me what your opinions are. Thanks </TD></TR></TABLE>
i would just pickup a b18c1 block, and cams for your b16 setup. then buy an oem honda headgasket w/ aebs head studs + blox intake manifold, gm 3 bar map sensor, walbro 255 fuel pump, rc 440 injectors so you don't need an impedance box.
now you got the big stuff done, pickup a greddy exhaust manifold, turbo, and exhaust elbow, then go for the kteller downpipe. you still would need an ic, piping, bov, + oil lines, but that just gives you an idea of a setup that would be good for what you want. exhaust + intake are really up to you, but make sure you have a fairly large filter. you can actually use an aftermarket intake for a 1st gen dsm sometimes.

i have all those things already installed on my car aside fomr the injectors. a C1 block would be nice but i dont really have the time nor money to put together a bare short block

Making 345whp and 248flbs on a clayton 4wd dyno at 17-18 psi on a itr with 9:1 arias and eagle rods, hondata, 680cc's, turbosmart external wastegate welded onto the greddy mani. No traction before 3rd gear. Internal wastegate sucks. i had major problems made the switch and i couldn't be happier.

okay I have a mitsu TDO5 small 16G. A guy in my area is selling a 18G with no exhaust housing for really cheap like $100. Should I pick up the 18g and use the 16g exhaust housing?

Where is a good place to buy a equal length manifold for it?

btw I have a gsr

not too sure about the housing.

as for the equal lenth manifold i looked into doing it but it ended up being way too expensive. all you need for an EL is a t-25 flanged turbo manifold.

How stable are your boost guys when running so much boost as 20Psi on these turbos? Does it stay at 20Psi all the way up?
Anyone tried Volvo/Mitsu turbos?

here is a flow map for the td05 18g

http://www.stealth316.com/imag...c.gif

you can keep the turbo in its highest efficiency (77%) still at about 21 psi, anything above that and youre starting to push hotter air. At that point it looks like youll be pushing arond 450cfms

just posting randomly... i built a 2.2l stroker @ a yr ago w./8.0:1 and stock gsr head using the greddy kit out of the box no changes, including boost. we used rc 550 injectors, fabbed a down pipe (using a cnc'd flange v-band clamp, and 3" stainless mandrel bends) greddy e-manage. this setup easily made 290hp/220lb.ft. all this at 8psi. since then we added a profec b, and are waiting for the customer to bring it back to make some better #'s from the 18g

it does without question, but not eberyone can afford that, cant wait to post dyno sheets of this motor at 25-35lbs w./the new turbo. but i will see what it does at 15lbs w./the 18g first.
