There is a turbo on ebay i want to try out, i always thought their hp rating they have is bs... I plan on getting the turbo balanced once i get it. Their specs say the turbo is good for 550hp. I think it can do more.
it is a super t4 .68 ar turbine housing, and .70 ar compressor housing
Here are the specs:
Intake: 4 inch
Inlet: 2.5 inch
Compressor trim: .70ar
Compressor Wheel diameter: 57.89 /72.95
Turbine Wheel diameter: 54.47 /83.16
Exhaust Trim: .68ar
Turbine flange type:T4 flange
Down pipe flange type: 3 inch v band
Cooling type: oil cool only
What are your guys impressions on the specs. Please do not say its junk because it is from ebay, i just want to hear on the specs and its potential based on these specs, not on the quality.. Thanks.

Its possible. specifications look like a tractor turbo, but its possible. As for "spool" and other worries, no one will know until you try it out. Could be a full-bladed wheel, a spliter-bladed wheel.. who knows.

And yes, it junk.

hard to say. Could go up to 500whp or so, but that turbine wheel is awfully big, so it fits a tractor. It may not respond very well depending upon the design of the compressor wheel. a pic would help.
