Well I recently wrecked my 2000 civic Si, and it ended up bein completely totaled. As of now I am one blessed **** to be sitting here breathing, but of course I plan to get back into my favorite thing in the world and build another civic instead of buying one

I am posting this in the FI forum because I want feedback on the engine I am going to buy. I am looking at passwordJDM's 2nd gen B16A motor. I want a B16 right now becase I plan to boost it, and since this is my first boost project I want to start with the 1.6 block and then upgrade to a 1.8 SiG block if something goes wrong. What do yal think of this? I am going to auctions and looking for a 99-00 2dr civic with no motor to drop the engine into. At this point I dont care if the car has a salvaged title because I live next to good ole georgia and I can get it inspected for a clean title after rebuilding.

But here is the thing I was looking at recently... I would love to find the front clip from a SirII civic and transplant it over. (Any of em 99-00?) I dont want to buy a civic type R clip with a B16B because thats kinda useless spending if I am gonna boost. I can do all the work myself so I am not concerned about money as much.

Either way it happens I have no car payment, and no insurance payment right now so I am ready to get crackin on a clean turbo civic.
