I have goals for 450-500 hp. what would be the best clearence for this? Also how much do you think they would charge? oh and its a b18b1 obd1. and what do you recoment for the piston rings/???

Are they high or low silicone? Go with what wiseco recommends. I have Arias and I ran mine at .0040 Above 500hp you could go with .0045 but again this is with Arias. Check my thread for a little more info and a video of my clearance.

What does CP recommend? .0060 is a lot of clearance even with 600hp. The only time Ive heard of people running close to that is with 800+ hp. Wait for others to chime in but I bet they will tell you to go with 84.5 and have your block remachined to .0045 or so

Talk to a reputable builder and see if he has any input or suggestions.

If you are broken in properly and on proper tune .006 should not be a problem. You might have tiny bit of piston slap in low rpms but it will be minimal.

I ran .008 on my initial turbo build and I tried to break it in on a base-map and cylinder 4 didn't seal properly.

A little loose is a good thing for boosted setups. If I was building your motor I'd be .004-.0045

sometimes its good to run a little looser compared to what they call for. especially if you plan for more power down the road. i say .004 to .0045. shoot, a buddy of mine is running .006 on a stock sleeve motor. but thats around 600 wheel.
