PSI is relevant to what turbo is being used. So saying 7 psi is good is just plain stupid. OP, this exact question has been asked/answered a million times over. Go through the FAQ and search homey.

Ugh....

For a stock internal D series, the safe range is generally in the 200-220whp range; however, those are generally D16Z6/Y8 rather than the B7. For your goals, plan it in terms or power created rather than boost. PSI is an irrelevant measure which varies depending on the turbo used. As for your injector choice, a set of 440s would certainly be enough. Tuning can be done on Crome if your budget is tight. If you have more to spend, there are other options available as well.

Read the FAQ...many of your questions will be answered there

just saying all bolt on turbo kits says it runs 7psi safely, so 7psi is safe lol
