Oil Restrictor on Ebay turbo
I've done some searches but haven't found anything. Just finished installing an ebay turbo on my car and it runs fantastic. I've been doing some research and a lot of guys say to run a restrictor?
My questions are:
What size does the restrictor have to be?
How can too much oil be a bad thing?
Also wondering how I could tell if the turbo seal is blown?
Thanks

Re: Oil Restrictor on Ebay turbo
I have an ATP Turbo 0.065" restrictor in mine.

Just making one would have been cheaper.. pretty expensive for what it is
Too much oil and pressure leaks past your seals. You will have oil in the charge and down pipes, and a smoking exhaust as the oil in your exhaust burns. They all leak seals eventually.. hope you have a few extra

Re: Oil Restrictor on Ebay turbo
restrictors are generally .065 hole
too much oil pressure can push past the seals
turbo seal is blown when it leaks oil into your downpipe and compressor side excessively and causing it to smoke.
oil restrictor can be purchased here
