Default Blown oil seals cause turbo to whine?

I think i ruined the oil seal on my 14b turbo. Ever since ive made a restrictor it burns oil like crazy. this problems gets better as the car is driven. While I was doing the restrictor i changed the oil and put in some lucasoil additive. i am thinking it might be affecting the turbo in some way? maybe the oil takes longer to lose viscosity?
or coudl it be my restrictor is close to the turbo so its jetting oil into the seals?
do turbos make whining sounds when theyre seals go? before i did the oil change with no restrictor the turbo woudl whinde under boost and the problem would go away as the oil pressure thinned out.

why did you put the lucas oil additive........that stuff plus + oil restrictor= no oil turbo.

that stuff really makes the oil thick......so your getting hardly any oil to the turbo until the engine is warm.......

i suggest you drain that oil and just use normal engine oil. but there is a chance you may have damaged the seals on the turbo.
