Ok sorry for remedial post. My question is in regards to need in winter months with denser cooler air

 

You need it in all the months. I have my Hondata s300 to activate it whenever the IAT get over 100. When it was low 40s outside I would still cruise and have IAT's over 100 so it is always needed.

 

Mono care to post some pics of the setup? I've been looking into it when i build a proper D for the JRSC and get a smaller pulley machined for more psi

found this old video I was on the y8/3.4 pulley combo. I made 170/131 with the z6/3.4 setup. I had a 300lb passenger and the other car had a 260lb passenger. There is some more info and pics for you. Im on a completely stock motor that I have rebuilt for the 2nd time. Its currently a 76mm bore with stock p28 pistons. Only thing I have done is opened the ring gaps of the top ring only to .018 and 2nd ring was .020. they came 14/20. So far all npr honda rings I have measured were .014 top and .020 2nd. Now what I found out was the npr rings that are sent with vitaras for the g16 engine code are reversed gap. Top ring was gaped larger then the 2nd ring.

So last night clutch started slipping. Stage one not enough now. Not bad though for a 195hp rated clutch I am making 230whp. Time for the new motor and stage 3 clutch.

 

Clutch still slipping so I was slow shifting. Racing a 03 svt cobra claiming 490 hp to the wheels.
