I am waiting for the fool to come in and say "damnit, I want to see the two black marks"
For 360 bucks, it seems like a deal. You're making me want to buy one now
But my GSR gearing isn't so great for NA (yes yes, boost forum)
I wonder if they also make one for the S4c SI transmission. I have a spare one laying around

wont practically everyone have wheel hop unless you have traction bars?
ya i think its safe to say it won't blow up with 300whp, and even if it doesn't at 530+whp, what about wear and tear and imminent failure down the road? even if it lasts 1, 2, or even 3 years, a quaife would still provide a LIFETIME of service at 2.5x the cost. how long do i plan to run a bseries tranny.. (i take it the quaife warranty isn't limited to a single tranny/car?)

from quaife's website it looks as if everything is lifetime except for the center diff from the Eclipse/Talon AWD Turbo 1993-99 application.
pulled from their website "Effective June 15, 2001, Quaife America will no longer replace broken differential housings on 76.309.155 (9B1) Center Differentials at no charge.
We have found that, due to design constraints of the transmission, the original equipment third gear that meshes with the center diff housing is prone to failure under extreme loading in modified vehicles. When this gear fails, it may cause the gear teeth ground on the Quaife housing to break, necessitating replacement. The Quaife Center Differential made for the Mitsubishi Eclipse/Talon AWD Turbo models are built from very high strength, case hardened material. However, even the superior construction of the Quaife Differential may fail under these situations, under no fault of the Quaife product.
Since this type of failure is not a fault of the Quaife product, we will not replace a broken housing that is due to this type of occurrence free of charge under the Quaife lifetime warranty policy. We will, however, replace the housings at a specially arranged price that covers our manufacturing costs.
All other components of this differential remain fully covered under our limited lifetime warranty."

Majority of Hondas do have traction bars... just not the more recent, exceedingly gay, overpriced, and overly hyped Civic/Integras. ED/DA chassis are very cool like that... lighter, too.

Thats true, but most of them still have wheel hop. Mostly due to worn bushings.

My CRX, ~225 whp, little bit of slop in some 40K ES suspension bushings but still firm, fresh KYBs, and worn out stock radius rod bushings, has no wheel hop.
Admittedly, your results may and will vary. These chassis are getting old and showing it, need some freshening.

took me 3 hours start to finish (that was pulling the trans..installing the diff and putting the trans back in the car).
its easy of you know what your doing and have done it before..if not take it to a shop.
