Default obd2 b18b1 what a good motor build?

So i just bought this b18b1 today and it doesnt have cams or cam gears on it so im gonna need them also.
I wanna build the motor for boost and am looking for 450-500hp
Whats a good set of pistions and rods does the heads need to be built to run some decent amount of boost i know the d series can hold 25psi on the head stock. Whats a good set of cams? Where can i get these at ?

I'd really look at those FAQs sticky at the top. There is also a devoted B18B turbo thread available. You've got a lot to read and focus on.

Short answer yes. You want to learn about your engine as much as possible before continuing with your questions. They seem rather ambiguous and vague.

read read read and read some more, you could have found out your answer if you looked down the page

for a basic build for 400whp this will get you there
get the block and head resurfaced
eagle rods
9:1 cp pistons (81.5mm)
block bored/honed to piston specs
oem rod/main bearings and thrust washer
new oil pick up gasket
new oil pan gasket
new head gasket
arp head studs
new rear main seal
new water pump
new timing belt/tensioner

and that should be it
add a 57 or 60 trim turbo and you have a 400whp pump gas street car

And that's just engine parts. you'll need to search about engine management (and no, Apexi SAFCs do not count as management)
