Default rebuilding block for boost

I have a new (35K) B18B head that I'm going to be throwing on my stock B18A1 block with 200K+ soon. I will be going with boost as soon as my motor is back together and I get a little extra cash in my pocket. My goal will be for around 275-300whp when its all said and done.

My stock block doesnt leak or burn any oil or anything but I want to rebuild it to handle the boost I want to put on it reliably. Only thing is I'm not sure what all should be replaced. Also, can I keep it stock or will I need some aftermarket parts? Basically, what would you guys do if this was your block and you were planning on reaching 300whp with it.

so for pistons and rods should I go OEM or aftermarket? If aftermarket, what should I be looking at? And for the headstuds I already have some ARP ones for when I put my head on.

I'll be going OEM on the bearings and gaskets too unless anyone has a better suggestion.

Would that be it, or is there more too??

If I were you, I would buy forged pistons, either 9.5:1 or lower, along with forged rods. You should be fine with OEM bearings and gaskets, I personally have had better luck with OEM than Cometic, but everyone is different.
