Default Newbie

Hello guys i am new to the Honda scene, I love boosted hondas, I have a 98 integra LS and want to put a GSR motor and boost soon, i am putting some cash together, I should be ready in the next week or so, I will be looking for some advice and even some parts, should I build my engine or buy one that is already built, I dont want any downtime etc

You don't need to swap in a GSR engine. LS engines love boost. Stock engine can handle plenty of power that will keep you happy for a while.

Do some reading and learning before you rush into installing a turbo kit/custom turbo, unless you are going to have a shop do it for you or something.

Well i was thinking of getting a good shop to do it for me, for those who live in the Long Island/Queens area, New York. I need a good shop in the area, i prefer to spend to get it done right the first time, I had too much trouble with friends coming over to help, I need it done professionally.

Used 60-1 Turbo or similar
I am willing to purchase these even if they need to be modified or serviced, as long as the price is right.

Don't put in a gsr. Just put the gsr head on your ls.

The problem with that is, I am planning to run high boost levels and I will need those little oil squirters in the block pissing on the back of the piston for cooling

There are plenty of people on here running high boost on an ls/vtec and I don't think they are having problems without the oil squirters.
