It is nice to see that despite the topic at hand, which is uberdata and related other topics, people want to increase their post count by voicing their opinions on other people's signatures. As if the noobs don't have enough trouble searching for quality posts as it is.
Why do you think this is appropriate behavior? Why do you think your opinion is important enough to take a thread completely off topic? Why do you think the people participating in this thread would want to be bothered with useless information unrelated to the topic at hand?

Agreed. Now back to the topic. My 450cc are running fine, probably on the rich side but I haven`t play much with the fuel table.

Just thought I'd let you guys know, I ran Ubderdata 1.63 today and it was
There were a few glitches, but hey, it worked, infact I drove it some 20 miles to my in-laws house on it with no real problems. This is on my 99 GSR with RC 440's btw. Out of boost the car didn't like to cruise in low vacuum (more load), but in greater vacuum it was a little better. I did notice something interesting, while crusing on the highway in 5th, my A/F gauge was fixed at rich.... in other words, it was in open loop the entire time. I thought Uberdata didn't force the ECU into open loop like you could with Hondata?? Either way, it was running fine while crusing, it was accelerating from a stop that the car didn't like, alot of misfiring/hesitation coordinating with the A/F gauge jumping to lean for that moment, I'm thinking the injectors are shutting momentarily, why I don't know but.... tuning to come

Your the second one i hear about that he thinks that the injectors shut to soon or open to early. Try to talk to Ndogg maybe he found out what it was i thought he sayd something about the TPS. and that it only was when he was barely giving gas.
@ Blake : Can we get a memorymap of your programm.

I third that, definitely seems to be a TPS issue. Yep, I tried it @ 11psi and everything ran smooth. Next step is going to be the 3bar map sensor, I know the option is there but has it been tested yet ?
As for the 1000cc injectors, as I recall any stand alone will start having a hard time with 800cc+ injector at idle.

I'll add on to the low throttle cutout list...
NA D16Z6 with 450s, several programs I whipped up. Tried both lean AFRs and rich. both produced missing/bucking at extremely low loads. TPS voltage within spec (.5v/4.5v) Much less/no problems with same tune done in UD1.2
Thanks for the good work Blake!

my car bucks at low throttle/load too, pos program.
blunder, 1.2 didnt do it as much? I slightly changed the map uncorking code, i'll have a look at it cuz there is code right above it that cuts fuel at certain map pressures.

Something interesting of note while driving the car last night on Uberdata again, whenever the car would see greater than 500 mm/Hg vacuum (very low throttle), the A/F gauge would stay pegged on the rich end, but with less than 500 mm/Hg (more throttle) and closer to atmospheric, the A/F would cycle back and forth as the car should during closed loop. I do get the feeling this is somehow tied to the TPS, almost as if when it's too low the ECU just assumes you're at 0 TPS and holds the injectors at an idle position.. not 100% sure about this but that's my guess for now
Either way, she idles fine and runs VERY hard in boost with a base (rich) map and only .65 degrees-per-psi retard

My car goes full lean at very, very small throttle, full rich at a miniscule amount of throttle more than that, and cycles through stoich at slightly more than that. I still haven't gotten 1.63 running yet either
The snowstorms we've been having lately have had a lot to do with that, though!
Buraku, anything you could do to fix the problem would be lovely.. I get stuck in traffic 5 days a week driving home and while having the car jump around like a bronco is interesting... I'd prefer stock behaviour

I am not using 1.6x daily yet because 1.2 runs perfect and does everything I need it to do for now. A lot of the new features seem pretty cool though and I will help testing more when the weather here clears up.

I too don't need right now all the features of 1.63 but I'll stick with it anyway and continue testing it, it must move foward.
Repost from my older post, the pic didn't work. It's slower but at least the pic will show up.
As Hondata, the main "problem" I saw was the chip removal for changing program. Now all I will have to do is pull the carpet to access the chip, just waiting to get my ZIF socket for an easier process.

Also, even though it wasn't an error, it was annoying me not to see (beside the fuel table) which map sensor the rom was using in the boost window when opening a new rom . So I made a slight modification to the script file "autoexec.txt", if someone could host it, it would be appreciated. My site is still down and I've heard it's going to be for a while

Hmm.. I think I'm gonna burn a new map based on 1.2 and see how she runs.
As for chip installation and removal, I hear ya!! It's a real PITA having to swap chips but once I get a ZIF for the ECU that should be easy. Also, I wish I had a cigarette lighter style power source for my Willem burner so I didn't have to come back home to burn chips. It'd be nice to hit the street with my laptop, ROM burner and wideband (once I got it) and do the tuning in one shot.

It uses a 12v source so would that work? Splicing up a cig lighter end to a power cord?
I've got 1 ZIF socket left if you need it PM me.
