new version of uberdata
Alright well I got 1.62 running (thanks!), where can I find the scripts to enable the rev limiter/VTEC etc..?
EDIT: and on another note, are you guys with the $65 Willem burner having any problems? I'm readying to buy one myself off E-bay, just want to make sure there are no outstanding issued I should be concerned with.

With ver 1.62 - will uberdata continue to advance timing after the 2.81in/Hg column and retard only upon seeing boost or would it retard timing immediately after the 2.81 column.
Hmm.........maybe it just uses the values in the colomn until 0in/Hg.
Just think it is something to know when tuning. Let me know.

Downloaded all the current scripts and it works like a charm, thanks..
One question, is the 'Digital Dash' supposed to be like a real-time representation of what's going on.. well no it can't be because Ubedata isn't actually connected to the ECU while the car is running, so.. what the hell is the Digi dash??

it will be connected to the ecu once i add datalogging support.

There is no zero point in the map, it lies between 2.6 in/hg and 1.33 psi of boost. The 1.33 psi column is the first to get retarded. The ecu will interpolate between those 2 values so if you want to be technical, it starts retarding right after the 2.6 in/hg column. And if you want to be furthur technical, it doesnt matetr cuz the stock code retards timing with more load anyways, so the ecu is just retarded just like stock

not unless someone else fixed it. it will be there soon bro. and you will have to wire a switch to your clutch.

someone please test this script & asm (put both in your dir with the exe if you didnt know). Its FTL ONLY.. and I'll tell you why. I think FTS is gay and i never ever ever ever use it. So if someone wants fts, script it up and submit it to me and i'll post it on the site. I kinda feel the same way about FTL, track conditions change bla bla... so it can become worthless pretty fast. That will change when real time programability is upon us though.
ANYWAY.. let me know if FTL works.

please let me know any problems.
notes about script: it looks wack the first time you run it on a rom w/o launch. .. enter in the resume/cut and it wont look gay like that anymore.
notes2: anything in the Devl section is "development" if you blow up your car.. tough ****

the only downside I see to FTL is for my brother's car when he goes to the track with his slicks....he can't warm up/clean his slicks because a lot of the time his FTL is set to low. A switch to turn it on and off would be awesome!!!

I hear ya... and it can be done. Thats beyond the scope of my interest however... perhaps ndogg will get his all fixed up so a clutch switch can be used. If you dont want FTL, don't put the script/asm into your uberdata dir
ALSO I just uploaded a idle.als.txt and a NEW rev.als.txt !!!!!!!!
The idle.als.txt is for advanced idle control, uberteg will be adding an iacv slider to it soon so you can also adjust your iacv duty cycle.
The new rev.als.txt is the same except it now rounds #'s... no more decimals. (thanks uberteg for adding that function)

Here's a question... regarding ECU's and having them prepped for chipping, is there anything different in socketing an ECU for Hondata than for Uberdata? In otherwords, can I use an ECU laying around that was socketed for use with Hondata for Uberdata or is there something different about how they are prepared?

I am not understanding how uberdatas ftl could affect a burnout, When you burnout the tires are gonna be turning at well over 8mph or whatver so the ftl is off, the ftl is only active when the front tires are pretty much stopped. I used ftl code all last summer at the track and burnouts are no diff with or without it. If you are using the right rpm you should be able to dump the clutch off the ftl and break the tires loose and do the burnout while bouncing off the normal rev limiter all you want, then slip the clutch off the ftl and they should ideally grab. If you cant break the cold tires loose by dumping the clutch off the ftl then did you really need a burnout anyways? Also I would always burn half a dozen identical chips or so but with different ftl rpms to take with me so I could adjust to to track conditions once I got to the track.

i have a ftl using the AC to switch it off working as of now. i haven't been able to get the fts working yet. part of the problem is i can't get the damn sytax correct to compile the ****. blake, i need info on your damn assembler!!! it is pissing me off! the only way i have got my code to run right is hand compiling and editing the hex file. VERY gay.
btw. i went out on the highway tonight and check my speed limit removal. it works
one more thing, i havn't really run uberdata much but i ran it all day today and noticed that my injectors seems to shut off a little prematurely and also they came back on a little late. this was causing a little jerking when i am just barely giving it gas. did anyone else notice this?
