so after further inspection, it looks like that has already been done. lets get the P06/P28/P30_erm.bin up to the official "unofficial" uberdata mirror. they can be found here: http://www.b94cast.com/uberdata/ </TD></TR></TABLE>

Can we please get rid of that P30_ermbaseline.bin file that's absolutely atrocious? I don't want anyone else to suffer through running that code... The JDMP72USDMP30base.bin is much, much better...

Damnit Blake, I just finished porting my map to 1.61 and within 30 seconds you released 1.62 hahah...

Weird, mine started? I also got limp mode with the ftl/fts script, so try removing that script if you have it.

Anyone else get the FTL/FTS to work? Either or on 1.61 or 1.62?

anyone? i was told that it might be an old map from 1.2. so i opened it up in the non 3-bar 1.2 available in the archives. and it displays vacuum/boost differently than a normal rom. i also tried opening it with 1.62 and it is just a bunch of garbled maps. anyone have a 3-bar version of 1.2 that could look at this for me? thanks.

I opened it in the 1.2 3bar - it has 12 col. for vac. and 3 for boost, but only to 10.38 psi.

Anyone try ndog's speed limit removal script?

when reading code out of a blank 27c256 chip, should it read 0000 0000 0000 ... or FFFF FFFF FFFF ...

i guess what i really want to know is how do you know if a 27c256 chip is blank or not? also, what does everyone here use to erase 27c256 chips? i know its uv, just seeing what everyone is using. thanks.

I think most of us use the 29c256 chips so we don't have to uv erase them. But if you search pgmfi, someone built a uv eraser, and batronix has one now as well as xtronics.

Blank chips should be all FF. The checksum should be 8000. I only use 27c256. No particular reason, it's just because I bought a lot of 30 off of ebay, so I have them. I also purchased 100 UV leds, and rigged up a 12v power supply and some current limiting resistors, for a ghetto eraser. Yeah. That **** didn't work at all, so if anyone wants som UV leds for hobby'ing, I'll let go of some cheap, hehe.

I've been using the UV eraser at school. Also I have a romulator, so I don't need to burn changes very often.

Blake, Blake, Blake...

You my friend are proof that intelligence conveys zero social graces, common sense or respect for boundaries.

This is not PGMFI, so I can't just delete / edit your post and send you an IM about what a fucktard you're being. This is hondatech, where every ******* idiot with a honda has the opportunity to see your comments without context.

You don't know PhiZ. You don't know what makes him mad. You don't know what he thinks is funny. You don't know what he thinks is an acceptable joke. You don't know his boundaries.

Point being, making fun of someone's upbringing, hair, national origin (maybe), race (maybe), nose, voice or handle are all potentially tolerable things to do in the spirit of poor humor. Calling or implying that someone is a sexual preditor without any facts or evidence to support that conclusion really crosses a line.

I'm telling you this because your actions tell me you really don't understand this subtle distinction between "kidding around" and seriously ******* with someone.

I'm not sure if you're aware, but PhiZ doesn't think you're funny. I'm not sure if you're aware, your address is all but public knowledge. I'm not sure if you're aware, your name is certainly public knowledge. You leave a big trail of breadcrumbs for someone who was really pissed at you to follow, don't you?

Do you want to continue to really **** off people for no good reason or would you rather think about what you type / speak a little more first so that you might potentially avoid half the planet thinking your an ***?

The choice is yours my friend... Understand these to be words of one of your friends, not threatening words or words of hate.

nobody try and use either version of ftl/fts, the first one made people go limp and i found a retarded mistake with the second one that will make it basically do nothing. i'm done posting shitty/nonworking versions for people to try out so... once i'm done with finals on tuesday, i will actually have time to test and there WILL BE a working version next week unless i prove to be useless

btw, has anyone tried the speed limit remove yet?

ic, well I found it funny. And i'm sorry he got his panties in a bunch over bullshit. Perhaps he was molested as a child or something, i dont know, nor do i care. It was a joke, and i'm sure anyone who knows phiz knows its a joke.

The website is considerably more appealing to the eyes now, and the FAQ is actually easy to navigate now.
