New too jap
Hi all im nick but everyone calls me sweed im from kettering northants. Im new too the jap scene ive always been a ford fan but i wanted a change, so ive purchased myself a 1995 1.5 lsi (non vtec) eg hatchback. But i must say i am a big turbo fan so was thinking about building a turbo motor for a civic i want too do a few things to my car but too be honest i dont no were too start so any help or advice on what bits too get to turbo my car or anything to help improve my car will be great thanks.
if money isnt too big of a problem start looking into swaping the motor. the motor you have in there now isnt known for its performance. but personally i have to go after the suspension first
regardless welcome to honda tech and the honda scene too... theres plenty of haters out there so try to take almost everything with a grain of salt

I think what people are trying to say is that Hondas are like any other platform when it comes to turbocharging, no different than any other platform that originally started NA and goes to turbocharging; you need injectors, fuel, and a way to manage it. At the same time, depending upon your needs and goals, there isn't a whole lot needed in the way of camshafts, headwork, and other items. So the more specific you are with your questions, (and not using jap in any more of your sentences) you'll find a lot more information on here. This forum is very informative; but it has its evil sides as well.
