Turbo honda setup, where do I start?
Yo, I'm new to the honda world but lately I have been tinkering around with the idea of building a turbo honda motor and slapping it in a light weight crx for kicks.
I have done 3 turbo build ups on my previous cars and right now im sporting a turbo HO PT Cruiser GT with mods so I know quite a few things about turbos but not hondas, I'm looking to get about 220-240hp for a quick daily drive but do not know what engine to start with. I was thinking of going with a d15 block and going from there. I just want somthing that can make that much hp for a quick streetable daily driver, My Pt cruiser gets the job done but after all its a pt cruiser and not a sports car so the handling is not there just gets off the line and goes in a straight line pretty damn quickly. Any ideas and thoughts would be greatly appreciated. PS I'm not looking to sink a crap load of money just somthing thats easy on the wallet but affective.

Tons of info on d.i.y. turbo setups in the archives. Try the red search icon in the upper right corner above the "You are logged in as" line.

not with a single cam motor
first you need a car, then you need a motor.... thats where you start

Any stock single cam with a decent turbo setup and a good tune will make your power goals. Even if you have to buy the car first, you could still do the whole setup (including the car) for less than $5-6k. Do your research and you'll be well on your way...
